Olympics Survey Analysis

  1. I received 27 responses on my survey
  2. On the open ended infrastructure question, the majority of people mentioned the roads are in need of improvement and parking is not convenient
  3. I can conclude that...
  • Most people are happy with an Olympics in Boston
  • Most people would prefer it to be in the surrounding area
  • Most people have difficulty commuting in Boston
  • Everyone enjoys watching the Olympics
     4.  After comparing the girl to boy responses there were no major differences, most people agreed
on the same things like being happy with an Olympics in Boston or wanting it in the surrounding
area. Both males and females wanted the roads to be improved and both had thoughts on Boston
     being too small.
     5. The question where you specify which aspects of the infrastructure need to be improved was
a beneficial question because people could answer as specifically as they wanted with as many
     problems they wished to share.
     6. Yes and no, Yes because it provides valuable insight into what people think about the subject
and Boston's overall condition. No because some people may not know what the question is
     asking.
     7. The purpose of my survey was to collect opinions and ideas on the topic of the Olympics
potentially being held in Boston in the future. The objective was to find out overall if people
wanted to have an Olympics in Boston and if anyone thought there were any problems with
     Boston that needed fixing.
     8. I could have made the first question less bias because you may have never been to Boston
before but you are answering the survey.
     9. I received the results I was expecting, most people where we live are in support of it and most
of the responses came from around the Reading area.

The Apprentice

  1. I thought for the most part the tasks assigned to Versacorp and Protege were  appropriate to test leadership skills. Most required background work to facilitate things and many tasks would not have been successful without someone holding the different groups in the field and at home connected.
  2. I would not make a good candidate in five years because I would still be in college and without any real world job experience. Many of the candidates had advanced degrees with many years of doing business under their belt.
  3. A task that would have to be completed would be designing a website for use in a large well known corporation. This would show their skills in design, marketing and their ability to attract people and keep them interested in the company. A reward could be a trip to one of Mr. Trump's many properties of interest to spend a relaxing day.
  4. I would oversee the construction of the high rise in Chicago. I would do this because it seems like a very interesting project that involves modern architectural advancement. Also, I would want to be known as the person who helped to make the building a reality.
  5. I believe that Kwame selling basketballs was unethical. People believed he was a celebrity of some sort so they followed along and all bought into the merchandise. They did not repeatedly express to every person that he was not famous and he did nothing to stop it once it got out of control.
  6. I would recommend future classes towards watching The Apprentice because it contains valuable lessons about business and is very entertaining while doing so.
